Mike Moran has worked in the news and sports broadcasting business since 1980, starting in radio in western New York State, then moving on to television news reporting and management. Mike moved to western Colorado for a sportscaster's job in 1987, then moved into news management in Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Panama City, Florida, and Monroe, Louisiana. Mike previously was News Director at the #1 NBC affiliate in Grand Junction for the current owners of KRYD-FM.
Mike has also served as a media salesperson, and currently he writes and sells advertising for The Business Times, a publication distributed 26 weeks a year--every other week.
In addition to writing and announcing news for KRYD-FM The RIDE, Mike teaches a Speechmaking class at Mesa State College, and is a management and marketing consultant for Heiden Homes Realty Associates in Grand Junction.
